SURFACE PROTECTIVE FILM

PURPOSE:To observe and inspect the surface protective film by providing an adhesive layer on one surface of a plastic film which is allowed to pass light by mixing a fine inorg. powder with a raw material synthetic resin so that the transmissivity of ultraviolet rays with a specific wavelength and that of visible light with a specific wavelength become specific ratios or more. CONSTITUTION:A surface protective film is provided whose transparency is not very good but practically sufficient to see the surface of an adherend in a state bonded to a plate material by selecting the kind and addition amt. of the fine inorg. powder added to a raw material synthetic resin so that the transmissivity of ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 200-380nm is set to 5% or less to prevent the surface deterioration of the plate material and the transmissivity of visible light with a wavelength of 400-700nm is set to 20% or more. Since the added fine inorg. powder does not move in the film, the surface contamination of the adherend is eliminated. The surface protective film is bonded to the surface of a product requiring surface protection in such a state that the adhesive layer of the film is pressed to the surface of the product.
