Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To make it possible to minimize the required space of the subject device and to minimize necessary energy introduction by attaching one linear motor or plural linear motors existing in a force acting direction to one of sorting tables arranged above and below to each other. CONSTITUTION: The sorter for granular articles has a stand consisting of a foundation frame 1 and an auxiliary frame 2, the two sorting tables 3 and 4 and an energy storage device arranged between these two sorting tables 3 and 4 and the stand. Both sorting tables 3 and 4 are so constituted that vibration motion is executed backward within the parallel moving planes and that both sorting tables 3 and 4 are supported at the stand. The two sorting tables 3 and 4 are arranged above and below to each other. and the one linear motor 11 or the plural linear motors 11 acting in the force acting direction are attached to the sorting tables 3 and 4.
