CONDENSED TYPE PYRAZOLE COMPOUND

PURPOSE:To obtain a new compound, having accelerating action on leukocyte phagocytosis and macrophage phagocytosis, recovering action on the number of leukocytes, activating action on infection resistance, antitumor action, improving action on immunocompetence and recovering action on the numbers of blood platelets and erythrocytes and useful for preventing and treating autoimmune diseases and anemia. CONSTITUTION:The compound of formula I [ring A is benzene or pyridine; R and R are H, halogen, alkyl, etc.; Y is H, alkyl, (substituted)phenyl, etc.; A is single bond or alkylene; B is COOR (R is H, alkyl, etc.); L is H, halogen, alkyl, etc.], e.g. 3-[4-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)phenyl]-1H-pyrazolo [3,4- blpyridine. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of the formula HNR R (R and R are H, alkyl, acyl, etc.).
