description | PURPOSE:To enable a hit to be detected even at a case that a projecting surface is apart from a projecting device by a method wherein the projecting device stores an infrared ray receiving means, a target projected by the projecting device is shot by an infrared ray injection gun and upon hit of it, the infrared ray receiving means of the projecting device may generate a hit signal. CONSTITUTION:A projecting device 20 is comprised of a film 24 for forming an image 14, a lens system 26 for converging a light beam, a mirror surface 28 for reflecting the light beam to any direction, and an infrared ray receiving means 30 for receiving an infrared ray going back on a light path of the light beam got from a light source 22. An infrared ray injecting gun 10 injects an infrared ray toward the image 14 projected onto a wall surface 12. Upon hit of an infrared ray 16 on the image 14, the hit infrared ray goes back on the light path of the image 14, is reflected back against the mirror surface 28, passes through a lens 26 and then the ray is detected by an infrared ray sensing means 30. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to project the targets with all the surfaces of a room being applied as a projecting surface, hit the target and to play dynamically the game while competing against the hit. |
