description PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and reduce the weight of a transmission system of a reaped culm transfer structure of a combine. CONSTITUTION:Rotary packers 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d acting on the base of reaped culm are parallelly arranged and a pair of right and left base-transfer chains 9a, 9b are extended in an interlocked state from the part above the rotary packer backward. The reaped culm raked with each rotary packer 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d is transferred backward through two paths with the base transfer chains 9a, 9b and joined with each other. The joined culms are delivered to a reaped culm feeding transfer apparatus 12 vertically tiltable around the rear supporting point and are transferred slantly backward to the upper part. The transferred culm is turned to a laid posture and supplied to a feed chain 11 of a threshing apparatus 2. In the culm transfer structure of a combine having the above structure, all the rotary packers 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d are interlocked by engaging with each other and driving force is applied to either one of the culm base transfer chains 9a and 9b or the rotary packers 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d.
