CASK POSITIONING TIGHT BINDING DEVICE FOR CASK CARRIER SHIP

PURPOSE:To perform safe and rapid positioning and fixing by a method wherein twist lock levers arranged at the bottom plate of a containing chamber and an intermediate deck is fitted in the twist lock hole of a box for locking a frame for supporting a cask, in a cask positioning tight binding device for a cask carrier ship for spent nuclear fuel. CONSTITUTION:A vertical shaft 13 is rotatably inserted in the hole of a mounting plate 12 in the vicinity of corner members by which the four corners of a frame 2 for supporting a cask are positioned on the placing table 7 of the bottom plate of a containing chamber and an intermediate deck material 8. A pointed twist lock lever 14 is arranged to the upper end of the vertical shaft 13. The lower end of the vertical shaft 13 is coupled to a drive source through a drive lever 15, and each twist lock lever 14 is synchronously rotated to a lock position. The twist lock lever 14 is fitted in the twist lock hole of the lock box 14 fixed to the frame 2 and rotation causes execution of positioning and fixing.
