CONSTITUTION:The process for the separation and recovery of amino acid is characterized by the contact of a solution containing amino acid with activated carbon in a pH range enabling the adsorption of amino acid to the activated carbon and the transfer of the activated carbon containing adsorbed amino acid into a solution having different pH to effect the desorption of the amino acid.
