Then, the matrix setting data is changed in accordance with the number of I/O lines and a switcher 20 is controlled. When the state display mode of the changer 10 is specified, a cassette display processing procedure is started the stage numbers of the bins 13A to 13V are allocated and the value of a variable (i) is given. (i) is a variable adding 1 in sequence from 0, whether the value of the variable (i) is coincident with the umber of colums of the bins or not is judged and when a negative result is gained, no change in the cassette state is indicated. When a positive result is gained, the insertion of a cassette into the bottle or its taking-out is judged. Thus, a switcher display section on a monitor 12A is made corresponsive to the switcher in accordance with its constitution.
