PURPOSE:To obtain on-vehicle facsimile equipment with function of privacy telephone compulsory cancellation and restoration instruction capable of preventing the transmission quality of communication from being lowered. CONSTITUTION:Radio equipment performs privacy telephone processing by a privacy telephone processing request signal from a handset, and the radio equipment cencels the privacy telephone processing by a privacy telephone processing cancellation request signal from the handset. Furthermore, the privacy telephone processing is cancelled compulsorily before starting facsimile communication in steps 102, 104, and the privacy telephone processing can be restored after completing the facsimile communication in the compulsory cancellation of the privacy telephone processing in steps 108, 110.
