Subsequently, the aged plate-shaped molding is crushed by a crusher and treated with a screen apparatus to obtain a granular material having a particle size of 0.25-2.0mm. This granular material is utilized for the treatment of activated carbon as a carrier. By this method, manufacturing cost can be reduced.
