Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of both anode and cathode covers from an alpha-alumina ring by joining the anode cover on the upper surface of the alpha-alumina ring, joining the cathode cover on the under surface, and pressing the alpha-alumina ring by means of both the anode and cathode covers when a battery internal pressure is increased. CONSTITUTION:An anode cover 2a is joined on the upper surface of an alpha-alumina ring 1a, and a cathode cover 3a is joined in the under surface notch part, by means of thermocompression bonding, and a solid electrolyte pipe 4 formed of beta''-alumina is also joined in the notch part of the-alumina ring 1a by means of glass solder while sandwiching the cathode cover 3a between it. Thereby, even if a battery internal pressure is increased, since the joining parts of the alpha-alumina ring 1a of both the anode and cathode covers 2a and 3a are not separated from each other, a secondary breakdown is not caused by such a reason that a battery inside material is leaked outside and a bad influence is exerted upon the other adjacent battery.
