PRINTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent ink from setting of to the rear of a sheet when perfect printing is performed by providing a mess for selecting between printing modes which receives and instructs selected perfect or one-side printing and allowing a means for printing to receive a command for reducing the print density which is previously set using a means for density adjustment in the perfect print mode. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 which controls a printing control device through a communication cable 3 under a printing system is equipped with a mainframe processing device 5 which is a document preparation device for preparing information to be printed and processes information to be entered and printed from an input device 9 through a means for input 7. In addition, a means for identifying a printing device 13 is provided which determines whether the printing device is capable of performing perfect printing, and at the same time, a display of selected printing mode is shown on the screen of a display device 8 through a means for selecting a printing mode 11 and thus selection between one-side printing and perfect printing is made. Further, if a command for perfect printing is received, the printing control device is instructed to reduce printing density to such an extent that the density is moderately adjusted not to allow to set off to the rear using a means for density adjustment 12.
