PROGRAM EDITING DEVICE AND ITS PROGRAM DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE:To easily understand the comments in a program production state by dividing previously a display screen into plural areas and displaying the comment data in an area different from and related to the display position of the comment data. CONSTITUTION:A program editing device displays a program under production or a produced program on a display screen together with the comment data on the text data contained in the program. Then, a display screen 500 is previously divided into the 1st and 2nd areas. A pointing means 1000 points the positional relation between the comment and text data. A display control means 1100 shows the program in the 1st area and then shows the comment data in the 2nd area related to the display position of the text data based on the positional relation pointed by the means 1000. In such a constitution, the comment can be easily shown and the working environment is improved for development of a computer program and a CAD program.
