To shift valves 71 to 73 of control stages, the first to the third control lines 106 to 108 branched from a main line 100 are connected respectively, and solenoid valves 76 to 78 installed to those control lines 106 to 108 respectively are controlled by control signals A, B, and C from a control circuit 200 respectively. Therefore, the friction connecting elements 41 to 46 are connected selectively, and the speed shift in a specific range can be carried out.
