PURPOSE:To provide the coin processing system for automatic vending machine which satisfies the condition of eliminating trouble for taking out the change, further, does not complicate the entire structure and can shorten time for processing the change. CONSTITUTION:This coin processing system to be fitted to the automatic vending machine provided with a coin inlet 1 and a change outlet 7 at the almost same height is composed of a first guide path 2 to guide coins inserted from the coin inlet 1 to the lower area of a longitudinal belt conveyer 3 in the straightly standing posture, longitudinal belt conveyer 3 to convey the coins coming from the first guide path 2 upward rather than the coin inlet 1 by a locker arranged on the belt surface, second guide path 4 to guide the coins conveyed by the longitudinal belt conveyer 3 to a change processor 5, change processor 5 higher than the coin inlet 1 so as to drop and discharge the change corresponding to the coins inserted to the coin inlet 1, and change receiving tray provided in counter to the change outlet 7 so as to receive the change dropped and discharged from the change processor 5.
