Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a color linear image sensor wherein three primary color signal corresponding to a color of a filter of a photo diode is supplied independently for each color. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a CCD 17 which temporarily holds and outputs charge read from a photodiode corresponding to a green filter G of one photodiode array, a CCD 42 which is arranged in an outside thereof and temporarily holds and outputs charge read from a photo diode corresponding to a blue filter B of the one photodiode array, a CCD 17 which is arranged in proximity to the other photodiode array and temporarily holds and outputs charge read from a photo diode corresponding to a red filter R and a CCD 42 which is arranged in an outside thereof and temporarily holds and outputs charge read from a photodiode corresponding to a green filter G of the other photo diode array.
