PURPOSE:To obtain a gel capillary for capillary electrophoresis, wherein gel composition is changed, manufacture thereof, a manufacturing apparatus, and an electrophoresis device using this gel capillary. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a gel capillary, wherein the composition of the filled gel is different at a place, one end of a capillary 9 is moved in gel solutions 10 and 11 having the different compositions. Sucking is performed with a sucking device 8 at the other end of the capillary 9. The solutions 10 and 11 are filled in the capillary, and polymerization is performed. Thus, the gel capillary is manufactured. The composition of the gel in the capillary is changed depending on the place. The more higher separating capability can be obtained by optimizing these conditions, because the separating degree and the moving speed of a sample can be arbitrarily changed.
