Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid refractometer which can measure a wide range of refractive index and density and a liquid densimeter using it. CONSTITUTION:A refract meter and a liquid densimeter using it fix a light- transmission part 19 and a light-reception part 20 within a probe 14 to a rack 21 and are laid out so that the rack 21 and a pinion 28 are engaged. When the pinion 28 is rotated, the rack 21 is rotated and the light-transmission part 19 and the light-reception part 21 rotates on the circumference including an incidence light path and a reflection light path to a prism 18 of a measured light PA with a center point G of the prism 18 as the center of rotation while accompanying the rack 21.
