MANUFACTURE OF PLANE HEATER

PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a plane heater with less manufacturing process and high efficiency from the viewpoint of both time and cost, in which good workability and yield, sufficient adhesive strength, and comfortableness at sitting on are provided without loosing the soft touch of a surface cloth, and the heater is easy to fold and roll up and can be light- weighted. CONSTITUTION:A heater integrated base material 2 having a heater wire 4 laid on a water permeable core cloth 3 is put between a heat insulating material 1 and a surface cloth 5. A water reacting type adhesive 7 is applied to any one of the heat insulating material 1, the heater integrated base material 2 and the surface cloth 5, and water is applied to any one of the others followed by pressing. Therefore, the adhesive 7 is reacted after each member is positioned and superposed, and the adhesive 7 permeates into the water permeable core cloth 3 and also into the surface of the other member to adhere this surface together with the applied surface. Thus, workability and yield are enhanced, and a sufficient adhesive strength can be provided.
