Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To efficiently separate and remove a low-calorie gas component etc. and to recover a high-calorie product gas at low cost, by using a PSA method for removing a low-calorie component etc., from a low-calorie raw material gas comprising low-calorie components such as H2, CO, CO2 and N2 and/or a non-combustible component and hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION:A low-calorie raw material gas comprising low-calorie components such as H2, CO, CO2 and N2 and/or a non-combustible component and a hydrocarbon is passed through a pressure swing adsorption tower packed with a clinoptilite adsorbent where a low-calorie component etc., are adsorbed to obtain an intermediate product gas. The intermediate product gas is fed to a pressure swing adsorption tower packed with a porous adsorbent having organic gas adsorbing properties where a hydrocarbon component is adsorbed while H2 is discharged. The adsorbed hydrocarbon component is desorbed in vacuo to obtain a high-calorie product gas.
