Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To generate a spark under a stable condition for a long time by performing enough cooling of a magnet, in an engine wherein a plurality of cylinders are arranged in series to a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cylinders 10 and 20 are arranged in series in a manner to approach a crank shaft 30 and the same number of magnets 62 and 63 as that of the cylinders 10 and 20 are arranged on the peripheral surface of a rotor 60. A magnet 80 located facing the peripheral surface of the rotor 60 is arranged in a passage for cooling air inputted through a suction port 33 formed in a crank case 32. Ignition plugs 82 and 83 located to the cylinders 10 and 20 and the magnet 80 are intercoupled through a cord 81. Though a spark is generated simultaneously in the cylinders 10 and 20, explosion occurs only in the cylinder 10 or 20 where air-fuel mixture is in a compressed state and misfire occurs to sparks generated in other cylinder 20 or 10.
