METHOD OF CHARGING ADHESIVE FOR JOINT OF STACKED BODIES BY BOLT

PURPOSE:To enhance the workability of charge of adhesive for preventing occurrence of play by charging the fastening surface of a bolt head covered with a cap, underneath and inside of the bolt head, so that the adhesive is charged into a gap between the outer periphery of the bolt and a bolt hole since the adhesive is pressurized when the bolt head is fastened. CONSTITUTION:A stack of plate members 3 to 5 which are stacked one upon another is formed therein with a bolt hole 6 through which a bolt 7 is inserted and fastened by a nut 11 so that the stack is compressed through the intermediary of washers 9, 10. In this arrangement, adhesive 1 such as epoxy resin is charged in a space 8 between the bolt hole 6 and the outer periphery of the bolt 7 so as to prevent occurrence of play. A bolt head 15 is covered with a cap 13 through the intermediary of a sheet member 14, and the adhesive 1 is charged into a space defined by the fastening surface 16 of the bolt head 15, the outer periphery of the bolt 7 and the upper surface of a washer 9. Further, the nut 11 is turned so as to fasten the bolt head 11 in order to pressurize the adhesive 1 in the space 8, resulting in that the gap 8 is filled with the adhesive 1. Air is discharged from the gap 8 through an air bleed hole 12 formed in a washer 10.
