description | PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to attain miniaturization and reduction in cost by allowing an image writing laser scanning optical system and a fixing laser scanning optical system to use the optical element of one part in common. CONSTITUTION:The fixing laser scanning optical system 33 and the image writing laser scanning optical system 27 use a polygon scanner 30 in common. The polygon scanner 30 is irradiated with laser beams (b) from a laser light source 34, from a little lower side than laser beams (a) from a first laser beam source 28. Therefore, the reflecting beams of the laser beams (b) are higher than the reflecting light beams of the laser beams (a), so that a second ftheta lens 36 is arranged at a position higher than a first ftheta lens 31. On the other hand, it is unnecessary that the spot diameters of the laser beams (b) for fixing are delicate like the spot diameters of the laser beams (a) for writing, so that a Ftheta lens is used in common according to the arrangement of each part, as well. Thus, the number of the parts is reduced, and the miniaturization and the reduction in cost are attained. |
