The mounting heads Bk1-4 respectively operate, when the heads reach mounting positions Bk1-4 which are allotted to the mounting heads on the printed wiring boards. When the mounting program is completed, the printed wiring boards Lp1-4 are moved forward by one mounting head pitch, and at that time, the first mounting head Bk1 in the transfer direction Tr1 is supplied with an unmounted printed wiring board Lup, and a mounting completed printed wiring board Lpf is carried out from the last mounting head Bk4.
