In this instance, a gas-liquid spring device 42 is connected to the chamber 38 by means of a passage 40 through part of a connection passage 32, and an opening/closing valve 44 which controls selectively connection between the chamber 38 and the device 42, is provided at the middle of the passage 40. And when the lateral acceleration of the car body has surpassed a predetermined value, the valve 44 opposite to the chamber 38 out of which the operation liquid is to be discharged, is closed. As a result, connection between the chamber 38 and the device 42 is intercepted, and the roll of the car body is restrained effectively.
