IMAGE TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To allow printing and outputting of images at the assigned time by transmitting the output date and time inputted by a date and time input means by a date and time transmitting means, then transmitting the image. CONSTITUTION:A user sets a transmission original in a reading section 108, assigns the output assignment time by a date and time assigning section 112, calls out the called party by a telephone set 102 and instructs a transmission start by an operating section 107. The output assignment time is transmitted to the called party by a date and time transmission section 113 and in succession, the original is coded by a codec 105 while the original is read by a reading section 108. The image data of the original is transmitted via a MODEM 104 and a network control unit(NCU) 103. The output assignment time received by a date and time receiving section 114 in a reception station is stored in a memory 111 and in succession, the received image data of the original is stored in the memory 111. The stored image data of the original is read out upon attainment of the output assignment time after the end of the communication, this data is decoded and is printed and outputted. The image is printed and outputted at the assigned time in this way.
