DIE FOR GRANULATING SYNTHETIC RESIN

PURPOSE:To exchange only a nozzle ring, when the re-polishing or exchanging of die is intended and make it possible to ensure highly accurate die by a constitution wherein the die concerned consists of a die main body equipped with the access parts of nozzle holes and the nozzle ring, which is detachably fixed to the main body and equipped with the tapered parts and land parts of the nozzle holes. CONSTITUTION:In a die 4 for granulating synthetic resin having a large number of nozzle holes 13, each of which consists of an access part 13a on the backward side of the extrusion direction of resin, a tapered part 13b convergent at its midway and a nozzle part 13c on its forward side, the die concerned consists of a die main body 4a equipped with the access parts 13a of the nozzle hole 13 and a nozzle ring 4b equipped with the tepered parts 13b and land parts 13c of the nozzle holes 13. The nozzle ring 4b is detachably fixed to the die main body 4a. Thus, at the changing-over of resin or the re-polishing or exchanging of the die due to wear, the exchanging of the nozzle ring 4b can be performed with out dismounting the die main body 4a from an extruder. In addition, the mounting accuracy of the nozzle ring 4b is also ensured and the exchanging operation becomes easy and, at the same time, the exchanging time is contrived to be remarkably shortened.
