description | PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of stepped wear without changing the pattern of a tread by arranging the belt cords of a belt ply at a specific angle to the circumferential direction, and also by setting the ratio of the radius of curvature of the belt layer in a specific region to the tire width to a specific value or more. CONSTITUTION:A belt layer 7 is made up of aromatic polyamide cords arranged so as to be crossed to each other or steel cords, and two belt plies 7A, 7B overlapped outside and inside in the radial direction are used. And the cords of respective belt plies 7A, 7B are arranged at an angle of 10 to 40 degrees to the circumferential direction of a tire viewing from the outside in the radial direction of the tire, thereby an intersection region X of the cords is formed between the outermost ends Xa, Xa in the radial direction of the tire of the belt ply 7B. Further, the ratio of the radius R of curvature of the belt layer 7 in the region L between the outermost end Xa in the radial direction of the tire in the intersection region X and the point Xb being distant from the outermost end Xa by 30mm along the belt layer 7 towards the inside in the axial direction of the tire to the width W of the tire, or the ratio R/W, is set to be 0.6 or more. |
