In particular, the contact surface frictional force of the mutual surface contact between the flat square braided part 2 and the flat plate shaped close winding coil 1 becomes the proper magnitude, and the sufficient toughness-torque transmissivity can be obtained. Since the outside diameter D can be set to 2.0mm or less, the catheter and the endoscope having each fine diameter and high torque transmissivity can be manufactured.
