CONSTITUTION:The heating drum 38 of a developing portion 36 and feed rollers 60a to 60c, etc. are rotatably supported between a pair of side plates 200 and the side plates 200 and the side plates 200 are each rotatably supported by a shaft 204, so that the developing portion 36 is put in a turning movement about the shaft 204 and can be easily exposed at its lower side and its separating portion. An armoring member is installed and a protrusion 228 presses a pressing member 226 downward and then the free end portion of a bias member 224 is lowered and a bracket 218 and a third gear 214 are rotated counterclockwise in Figure. After installation of the armoring member is completed the gear 214 and a first gear 208 are securely engaged with each other. When the armoring member is disconnected from a main body the abutment of the protrusion 228 on the member 226 is canceled and the member 226 is moved upward by the elastic force of the member 224. Then the gear 214 lowers because of its weight and disengages from the gear 208. |
