LABEL PRINTER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To issue a label of an arbitrary width without replacing a label roll by providing a slitter device which provides a slit in a printing paper running direction and can displace in a printing paper width direction. CONSTITUTION:In a label printer device, a slitter device 9 is provided between a platen 4 and a cutter device 6. The slitter device 9 consists of a receiving roll 10 and a rotary blade 11. The rotary blade 11 is so constructed as to displace between a full-line position F and a broken-line position G in a printing paper width direction. As printing paper 2 is fed by driving a platen 4, a slit 121 is formed on the printing paper 2. By cutting the paper by operating the cutter device 6, printed paper 21 of a required length provided with the slit 121 is issued. When a user uses the printed power 21, the user reels only neccessary labels 13 divided by the slit 121 from release base paper. A feed length of the printing paper 2 and an action timing of the cutter device 6 are adjusted to cope with labels of different lengths L1 and L2.
