CONSTITUTION:In a shrinking furnace for heating and shrinking a shrink film 3, for example, ten upper heaters 40 are arranged in a width direction as indicated by (1) to (10), and six heaters in a longitudinal direction as indicated by (a) to (f). In the case (A) that the two heaters on each end and the two heaters 4 and 7 in the middle are supplied with power and heated, (B) that four heaters on the both ends are not supplied with power, and (C) that one of every two heaters is supplied with power, a heater 40 which is not supplied with power for heating also becomes hot by heating with radiation heat from a next heater 40, finally having a similar temperature to that of the power supplied heaters. Thus, by combining arbitrarily heated heaters and unheated heaters, a desired temperature distribution control can be obtained.
