description PURPOSE:To enhance the dielectric polarization effect and collection efficiency of an electret filter by integrating a conductive resin net with the electret filter. CONSTITUTION:A charging part 1 consisting of discharge wires 2, parallel plate electrodes 3 and a DC voltage power supply 4 is provided on the upstream side of air flow and an electret filter 6 is arranged on the downstream side of the air flow in a corrugated shape so as to cross an air passage. Discharge wires 7 are provided on the upstream side of the filter 6 and the conductive resin net 8 integrated with the filter 6 is arranged so as to face to the downstream side of the filter 6. Further, voltage is applied to the discharge wires 7 and the resin net 8 is earthed to apply electric fields to the filter 6 by the discharge wires 7 and the resin net 8. As a result, the collection efficiency of dust particles of the filter 6 is enhanced and pressure loss is reduced and the life of the filter 6 is extended and, further, the dielectric polarization effect of the filter 6 is enhanced and collection efficiency is enhanced.
