description PURPOSE:To enable continuous reproduction with a good linkage of images by accomplishing a loop reproduction between a frame corresponding to the oldest R wave and a frame corresponding to the newest R wave when reproducing an image data continuously from a plurality of frame memories. CONSTITUTION:A signal of an R wave detected with a biowave detecting section 7 is stored with an R wave memory section 22 provided on the output side thereof 7 and the R wave is detected automatically with a central processing unit 8. As a result, when image data from a plurality of frame memories of a color DS5 is reproduced continuously, a loop reproduction is accomplished between a frame corresponding to the oldest R wave the closest to a stoppage point of recording and a frame corresponding to the newest R wave. In this case, a first frame memory in the loop reproduction of an image begins at a timing of the R wave and the last frame memory ends at a timing of the R wave so that the images are reproduced continuously being linked smoothly without breakage thereof at a joint point of repetition of the loop. This can improve the link of the images in the shifting of a loop in the loop reproduction, thereby making the motion of the images natural.
