HOUSEHOLD ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To obtain such an elevator as to provide a user with a feeling of satisfaction and enable easy escape out of a house at the time of an emergency by providing the upper part of an elevating path and a cage with transparent windows as well as providing an escape exit in the vicinity of a door. CONSTITUTION:An aged man living on the third floor for instance can ride on a cage 6 and stops it at an observation part 8 to have a look at the outside scenery from a high position and enjoy sun bathing through a transparent window 7 in the cage and a transparent window 9. On the other hand, in case an emergency such as fire is generated, the aged man gets on the cage 6 from the third floor, stops it at the first floor, opens exit doors 10, 11 to come out to the ground floor 1F1 and gets out of a house 1 from an escape exit 14 provided in the vicinity of the exit door 11. The aged man can thus escape safely and rapidly while being protected from flames and smoke by a partition 15 and a fireproof wall 16.
