Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a good output and S/N of shallow layer recording signals by nearly equaling the thickness of a 2nd magnetic layer to the effective recording depth of video recording signals and setting the coercive force of the 2nd magnetic layer larger than the coercive force of the 1st magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The 1st magnetic layer and the 2nd magnetic layer are successively formed on a substrate and the thickness of the 2nd magnetic layer is set nearly equal to the effective recording depth of the video recording signals. The coercive force of the 2nd magnetic layer is set larger than the coercive force of the 1st magnetic layer. The video recording signals which are superposedly recorded and are partly erased among the high-fidelity audio recording signals are only the signals recorded in the 2nd magnetic layer and the erasing rate of this time is extremely low as the 2nd magnetic layer has the high coercive force. The decrease rate of the output of the high-fidelity audio recording signal due to superposed recording is thus extremely lowered.
