description PURPOSE:To reduce the number of necessary flow regulating valves by providing the flow regulating valve operated by a predetermined difference between pressures at the upstream and downstream side of a flow path change-over valve provided on the way of a first supply path communicating to a wheel cylinder to cut off the first and second supply paths. CONSTITUTION:In a brake device having first and second brake systems A, B formed into a diagonal piping system, pressurized oil from an oil chamber 1a of a master cylinder 1 is supplied through first and second flow path change- over valves 7, 8 to respective wheel cylinders 2, 3 of front and rear wheels of the brake system A(similarly B) in the normal braking. On the other hand, in the occurrence of skid state, the pressurized oil in the respective wheel cylinders 2, 3 is adapted to escape through the respective flow path change-over valves 7, 8 to a thump device 9. Then, a flow regulating valve 10 is provided which is operated by a predetermined difference between pressures at the upstream and downstream sides of the first path changeover valve 7 to cut off first and second supply paths 4, 5.
