Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To remove dirt on a sealed surface efficiently without generating an overlooking of dirt by a method wherein by lowering a cleaning unit, which synchro nously moves/circulates directly above a container, dirt on the sealed surface of the container is removed, and the container is taken out of a placing table, and after a spatula for cleaning has been washed, the cleaning unit is returned to the original position. CONSTITUTION:A container 1, in which a content has been filled, is continuously carried on a carry-in conveyor 28, and is placed on a placing table 3, which has been moved, at a lead-in position 1 while being held between a holding pert 30a of a feed turret 30, which is rotating, and a container induction guide 33; and moves along a cleaning section II. In the meantime, a cleaning unit descends, and the lower edge of a spatula for cleaning 13, which is rotating, comes into contact with a sealed surface 1a of the container 1, and removes dirt. When approaching the end of the above- mentioned section II, the cleaning unit ascends, and the container 1 is transferred on a carry-out conveyor 31 by a discharge turret 32, which is rotating. The ascended cleaning unit continuously keeps moving, and descends into a spatula washing tank 35 at a spatula washing section IV and washes the spatula, and then ascends again and returns to the original position.
