description PURPOSE:To obtain a wireless stapler capable of keeping excellent matching properties by applying an adhesive to the perforated surface of paper when a punch pad rises. CONSTITUTION:A punch 1 falls to the paper bundle 6 held between a paper hold 4 and a paper placing die 5 and the leading end of the punch 1 pierces the paper bundle 6 to impinge against the leading end of the insert part 15 of the cooperation valve 14 incorporated in a punch pad 7 and further falls to press a coil spring 16 to push the whole of a unit downwardly and the large diameter part of the punch 1 is allowed to pierce through the paper bundle 1 and, at the same time, an adhesive 12 is sucked from a tank 11. When the punch 1 returns upwardly, a lower unit also rises and the punch receiving member 7 presses the burr 10a of a paper bundle 10 protruding in a bar ring shape upwardly and impinges against the paper placing die 5 simultaneously to stop. Herein, the cooperation valve 14 further rises along with the punch 1 and pushes up the adhesive 2 to emit the same to the perforated surface of the paper bundle 10. Therefore, a stapler capable of performing bookbinding excellent in matching properties is obtained.
