description PURPOSE:To increase the converging speed and to prevent a case where the conver gence is through before a restriction formula is satisfied by using a comparator which decides the positive or negative output result of a multiplier to output the value out of a memory with the positive output result and to output the output of the multiplier with the negative output result respectively to a function calculator. CONSTITUTION:A 1st memory 3 stores the optional value, and a multiplier 2 outputs the result obtained by multiplying the input of a function calculator 7 by the value stored in the memory 3. Then a 2nd memory 5 is added to store the optional value together with a comparator 4 which decides the positive or negative output result of the multiplier 2 to output the value stored in the memory 5 with the positive output result and to output the output of the multiplier 2 with the negative output result respectively, and a subtractor 6 which outputs the value obtained by subtracting the output result of the comparator 4 from the value of the memory 5. These parts are included in the calculator 7. In such a constitution, the output of a restricting condition output device can be changed if a restriction formula is not satisfied. Thus it is pos sible to increase the converging speed and to prevent a case where the convergence is through before the restriction formula is satisfied for a linear programming problem calculating device applying a neural type circuit.
