description | PURPOSE:To reduce a wave force exerted on a front wall and to dissipate even a high wave by means of a low mooring force by forming the upper front of a floating body in a shape rounded in a longitudinal direction and mounting a slope plate, having a rearwardly descending grade, on the rear side of the floating body. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 3 extending in a laterally long manner is formed to the front part of a floating body 1 having a floating chamber 2, and a sea water flow entrance opening part 5 is laterally formed in the lower front part of the air chamber 3. An upper front part 1a of the air chamber 3 is formed in a rounded shape forming a gentle streamlined type. Further, an air hole 6 is formed in a ceiling part, through compression of air in the air chamber 3 by means of sea water flowing through the sea water flow entrance opening 5, air is discharged upward through the air hole 6, and operation to absorb wave energy is carried out. The proper number of buoyant tanks 8 is mounted on the rear end part of the slope plate 4, and mooring is effected by means of mooring cables 9 tied to the front end part of the floating body 1 and the rear end part of the slope plate 4. |
