Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To detect relay abnormality by a method wherein a means which detects the failure occurrence from an input control signal and a signal from the one terminal of a second relay contact is provided and the failure of a relay driving circuit or first and second relay contacts is detected. CONSTITUTION:When abnormality occurs in a relay driving circuit 2 or relay contacts 3 and 4, if an input control signal is at an 'L' level, the relay contacts 3 and 4 are supposed not to move. If the relay contacts are closed, the output (b) of an inverter 5 is at an 'H' level and an EX-OR circuit 6 outputs an alarm by obtaining an exclusive OR of the inverter output and the 'L' level input control signal. If the input control signal is at an 'H' level, the EX-OR circuit 6 outputs an alarm in the same way.
