description PURPOSE:To obtain a stably sewn product for which there is no sewing shrinkage, sewing deviation, out sewing or over sewing margin to sew up even in a dishcloth with a curved part or bent part by holding the dishcloth by a holding means and moving the holding means along a prescribed track provided on a sewing machine table while applying tension to the dishcloth. CONSTITUTION:The cloth end of the dishcloth to be sewn is held by a holding part 7 of a holding device 3 and with the advancement of sewing by a sewing head 1, the holding device 3 holding the dishcloth is advanced toward the sewing head 1 along a traveling track 4. In such a case, since the suitable tension is applied to the dishcloth by the holding device 3, the sewing shrinkage or sewing deviation is not generated. Even in the dishcloth with the curved part or bent part, since the holding device 3 moves on the specified track corresponding to the curved part or bent part of the dishcloth, the out sewing or over margin to sew up, etc., is not generated and the accurately sewn product can be stably obtained.
