Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simply collect oil, being sorted into different properties, and to facilitate the handling and process of collected oil by providing coolers in several stages having different cooling temperatures so as to collect oil to be condensed while being distilled. CONSTITUTION:A cluster of stainless chips disposed in a container 28 for materials to be distilled, is introduced into a distilling furnace 10. When the temperature of the cluster increases, cutting oil contained therein is evaporated, and is led through a gas pipe 19 into a first cooler 1 inside of which is held at a temperature of about 400 deg. C. Therefore, the oil having a high boiling point is condensed and then flows into an oil cooling device 12 so that it is collected and is led into one of collection tanks 16. Gas to be distilled containing an oil phase part which has not yet been condensed in the first cooler 11, is moved into a second cooler 13 for distilling gas, which has been cooled to a temperature around a room temperature by cooling water, oil and water contained in the gas to be distilled are condensed substantially so that oil having a low boiling temperature is collected and is then led to one of collecting tanks 17.
