Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the device dimension, to eliminate the effect of a measuring atmosphere and to improve operability and reliability, by providing a window through which the incident light on an inner face bead and the reflection light from the inner face bead are transmitted, on the case body incorporating the instrument for monitoring the bead cutting state of the seam welded pipe inner face. CONSTITUTION:A slit light emitting device 4 for the instrument for monitoring the bead cutting state of the seam welded pipe inner face, mirrors 5 and 6 and CCD camera 7 are arranged at the inner part of a case body 8 and a window 9 made of a heatresistant glass where a slit light 3 is transmitted is arranged on the upper surface of the case body 8. The external face of the window 9 is then cleaned by the wiper 17 driven by a pneumatic cylinder 16. Moreover an air purge nozzle 18 is arranged at the external face outer peripheral part of the window 9, a low pressure air is transferred to the nozzle 18 by an air piping 19 and the sticking of water, vapor and dust to the window 9 is prevented with the injection of air from the nozzle 18. Also, a heater 20 is installed on the window 9 to prevent the window 9 from being blurred.
