Next, the OSD circuit is made to be in an adding video signal outputting mode when executing a state display or the display of the program contents, the video signal is added to the input signal or the video signal is replaced, and the program content is displayed. That is, the program display operation is executed even when the circuit 1 is in a single mode of PAL, NTSC.
