description PURPOSE:To accurately detect the pressing force of a stylus pen with a minute displacement of an indicator by interlocking rotatably a plate spring between the indicator and the other end of a case, and providing a strain gauge to the plate spring. CONSTITUTION:When a contact is secured between the tip of an indicator 2 and an optional point on the tablet surface, the force is applied in the lengthwise direction of a plate spring 5 in accordance with the contact force. Thus the spring 5 has a malformation and therefore a strain gauge 6 also has a malformation. Then the gauge 6 detects the value accordant with the contact pressure. Meanwhile the spring 5 itself and then the gauge 6 have virtually no malfunction when the force rectangular to the lengthwise direction of the spring 5 is applied to a stylus pen. Then no force is detected in the rectangular direction and only the contact pressure is detected. Thus it is possible to detect the pressure with high accuracy with a minute moved variable.
