MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR BAG

PURPOSE:To manufacture automatically and continuously a bag such as a shopping bag having a plurality of folds and contrive an improvement in productivity, by a method wherein a plurality of the folds are provided continuously on a continuous sheet by corresponding to feed of the continuous sheet by making use of a comb member and guide member. CONSTITUTION:When a feed device, that is, pinch rolls 7, 8 are driven, a continu ous sheets 3, 4 are uncoiled from set rolls 1, 2 and led to a folding jig 13 through guide rolls 14, 15. The continuous sheet 3 is guided by one side pressing part 19 of a guide member 21 so that the continuous sheet 3 passess through among the pressing part 19 and combs 17, 17 and two foldouts are formed, in the folding jig 13. Then the continuous sheet 4 is guided by the other pressing part 20 of the guide member 21 so that the continuous sheet 4 passes through among the pressing part 20 and combs 8, 18 and two folds are formed. There fore, the two floods are formed on both sides of the continuous sheets 3, 4 while they are passing through the inside of the folding jig 3. The continuous sheets 3, 4 are led to ultrasonic fusing machines 5, 6 under that state and fused and joined to each other respectively at parts (b), (c).
