LIP CUTTING DEVICE FOR FILM BAG MANUFACTURING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To cut a lip into the V-shape smoothly and securely without touching slidingly the peripheral edge of a cutting blade of a through-hole by installing a press plate bored above a cutter support plate with an almost triangle through-hole supporting the lip, providingly projectingly support pieces facing each other on a base of the through-hole and clamping the lip between the support pieces. CONSTITUTION:Support pieces 118 and 119 are installed projectingly on a base of through-holes 11 and 113, and both edges of a cutting blade 117 is lifted and lowered slowly in a space between both side peripheral edge sections of the through-holes 11 and 113 and the support pieces 118 and 119. A film (b) in which a folded lip (a) is intermittently transferred is, therefore, transferred to a lip opening device in the state of opening the lip (a), and the position of its end edge is sensed by a sensor, moved and adjusted, and when the film (b) is transferred to a cutter supporting plate 112 and stopped thereon, first a cylinder 114 is actuated and a press plate 115 is lowered to clamp a lip (a) section of the film (b) between the cutter supporting plate 112 and the press plate 115, and then a cutting blade 117 is lowered by a cylinder 116 to cut the lip (a) into almost V-shaped and the lip is folded by the guide bar lip folding device.
