Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To furnish an image forming device having a high luminance blue light emitting element by a simple structure by a method wherein a diamond crystal is used for blue exposure of an exposure apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A blue light emitting diamond is a single crystal diamond on the surface of which a small flaw is formed with a needle of diamond and which is heat treated in an oxygen atmosphere thereafter. When a certain voltage is applied to the flawed diamond, high luminance blue light emission of approx. 440 nanometer in wavelength is obtained. LED drive circuits 55, 56 drive respectively a red LED 31 and a green LED 32 based on their data, and drive a blue light emitting diamond 33 in the same way.
